R.J. Lewis is a seasoned entrepreneur, angel investor, and digital health innovator with a passion for helping early-stage companies transition from MVP to meaningful market traction. As Co-Founder of HIPER, R.J. plays a hands-on role in accelerating commercialization strategies for startups, especially those focused on healthcare, SaaS, martech, adtech, AI, and emerging technologies. He has invested in over 100 startups and is an active member of the Delaware Crossing Investor Group, as well as an LP in multiple venture capital funds. R.J. also maintains a strong presence on AngelList and other crowdfunding platforms.
R.J. is the Founder and CEO of eHealthcare Solutions (EHS), the premier digital advertising network focused on the healthcare industry. Since 1999, EHS has delivered innovative advertising solutions by aggregating niche health audiences through exclusive partnerships with leading medical publishers. EHS’s clients and partners include the American Diabetes Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, Drugs.com Professional, Tap Native, TrendMD, and many others. Under R.J.’s leadership, EHS has been recognized as a PM360 Trailblazer Company of the Year, and R.J. himself was honored among the PharmaVOICE 100 most inspiring leaders in life sciences. He is also the co-author of RESULTS: The Future of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing.
In 2017, R.J. co-founded Tap Native, a performance-driven native advertising platform built specifically for healthcare marketers. Initially focused on direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns, Tap Native has grown to reach over one-third of U.S. healthcare professionals monthly. Innovations like NPI-based bidding and real-time physician-level data (PLD) reporting have positioned Tap Native as a pioneer in HCP targeting.
Previously, R.J. co-founded Ad-Juster, a SaaS company specializing in digital advertising operations and discrepancy management. The platform served more than half of the comScore top 100 publishers before being acquired by Innotech Capitals in 2016. Today, it forms part of the publisher-facing suite of DoubleVerify (NYSE: DV).
Beyond business, R.J. is deeply committed to community service. As a past president of the Rotary Club of Trenton, he co-founded the Run for Club Kids initiative, raising over $1 million for the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County through a series of endurance races.
R.J. holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from NYU's Stern School of Business.
